Comments:
The shunt fed 78' tower worked well on TX & RX. The first night was not
too noisey despite a 5 inch snow fall. Was surprised by the number of
European stations answering my CQ's. Worked 2 KH6's but missed WTX, MT, LAX,
VI, AK, VE4 thru 7 and NWT. Guess the mix of A/B VFO switching between CQ's
to hunt for DX mults was just about right. Worked 18 countries with the 100W.
160 Meter DX conditions should be getting even better in the next few years
as the Solar Cycle #23 ramps down to minimum.
