Comments:
Lower sunspot numbers re '02 keenly felt: same op, equipment same or a bit
better, but only about 2/3 as many QSOs and DX countries as last year, and half
the score. Slightly fewer hours, but only because few beyond LOS were heard in
the late evenings. No skip Fri. evening, but a few weak signals on scatter or E
skip: some (e.g. MN) sounded like meteor scatter. Morning EU runs short; no
Scandinavians, no UA, E. EU very spotty. Sat. and Sun. evenings had fair
propagation N. and S., including several W1s not copyable exCEPT with ant.
South! Listened for JAs but heard none, nor KL7. In continental US, missed
only DELAWARE, next door!
