First of all, sorry for screwing up your logging program. If you thought I
was a mult, I'm not. Sorry. /MM only counts for QSO credit in the NAQP.
This was the 2nd time I hooked the radio up since the 10m contest last year.
I have to set up outside the skin of the ship, otherwise there's a risk of
interfering with some of the ship's systems. A brisk north wind and
temperatures in the low 40's made sending CW with cold hands tough. I missed a
3 hour chunk during prime 15/20m conditions for flight operations, and when
things started drying up on 40 I packed it in for the night.
Thanks again for all the Q's - it's great to be able to play radio
periodically out here. We're currently scheduled to return home the evening of
the 31st after 60 days at sea, which unfortunately is the night of the CW
Sprint. If the schedule holds, I will have to miss my favorite contest. Family
comes first, especially after being gone for the holidays.
