Comments:
was really pumped to do good but stuck rotors and no 80 meter antenna put a kink
in my plan. someone thought it would be funny to pull Ralph's 80m dipole off
the tower. Amazing i made 97 q's on 80 with the 160 sloper and a tuner.
First shot at SO2R, Ralph purchased another MP last year and we finally got
around to hooking it all up for SO2R.
Didn't pass that many people, but used the 2nd radio a lot to S&P while running
(or trying to run).
Looks like I wasn't the only one that got screwed over by the ice :) heard lots
of people say their antennas had very high SWR and rotors would't turn.
overall was a lot of fun, and a great learning experience with SO2R... someday
il be good! :)
