Comments:
It was a struggle to break 1 meg this year! Only one European and one JA on 10.
With everyone crowded onto 15 meters it was impossible to run Europe through the
east coast "wall" with low power from Texas. However, with all the s&p time and
the low bands in good shape I ended up with a higher multiplier total than last
year. Q's were down by about 12%.
Equipment: IC-746Pro + TS930s w/Piexx board, homemade SO2R controller
Antennas: Force 12 C4-SXL on 135' tower. Th3jr fixed SE at 70', sloping dipole
array for 80 meters, tower shunt fed on 160. Second 48' tower with home made
quad - 2 elements on 20/15, 4 on 10.
