Comments:
Station moved to using an ACOM 2S1, which performed flawlessly, but we had major
difficulties integrating a borrowed third rig (which none of us was used to
computer-controlling and for which it turned out we didn't have the right plug
to key the Alpha--eventually blew part of the rig's PTT functionality) and a
rented third computer--gotta bring these elements together earlier (or go buy
some). Lost a lot of time at start-up and at several points in the contest.
Nonetheless, the team was resilient and of good cheer and we had a good time.
The station otherwise was performing well.
VERY SPECIAL THANKS go to a team member who couldn't even be here--NY1S was of
inestimable long-distance help solving computer issues and providing the best
propagation charts we have ever had. Thanks, Joe! Hope to see you here for
many future contests!
