On a short visit to 4X land. Only had about 50w from an TS530 with soft finals.
Tribander stuck NNW, not the optimal direction from 4X land. Spent about 1 hour
15 minutes Saturday night all S&P and only able to make about 50 qso's. Heard
lot's of U.S. stations on 15 meters but only able to snag a dozen or so . Lot's
of s5-7 signals didn't even give me a "QRZ". Interesting to see who was hearing
well. Sunday morning got on for 45 minutes and found I was able to run. Same
with a 1 hour operating effort in the afternooon where I worked 182 qso's in the
hour. Lot's of fun especially given the setup. Wish I'd had some more time. Tnx
