Eqpt: FT-1000MP--100 W--Ant. all wire--80 M inv. vee, 40 M dipole. Problems:
C-3 beam busted, rotator in for repair--poor daytime condx, especially 10 M. but
good nightime 20 and 40 M for Eu and Asia at same time--need to rebuild all
antennas--many thanks to fellow nccc members for 80m qso's-did not use packet in
this contest due to high speed--perhaps i could have gone for mults when 20 was
wide open--BIG surprise was hearing P50A--No. Korea on 7005 on Sun.
morning--missed him but heard KX7M pick him off neatly in a pause in the JA
pileup--obviously a JA-sponsored rare one on 40M--my worst wpx cw score since
2001--these days a sleepy OT--Jack N6EM
