Comments:
A quick 2 hour expedition to San Benito County after Church on Sunday.
No spectacular mountaintop location---I was down in the flatlands
behind the Dunneville Restaurant partway to Hollister (their BBQ'd
Tri-Tip/Garlic bread sandwiches are awesome :-)
Computer CW keying wouldn't work nor VOX so after fumbling around with
a hand mike and trying to log, I did mostly CW...in spite of keying/RF
problems & some intermittent SWR challenges ;-(
What a change from my 20m shift at N6O on Saturday! Going from stacked
multi-element yagis on a 100ft+ tower & 1.5KW to 100w and an R-5 vertical
was, umh, quite different!
