Tough competition this weekend. Congrats to W3LPL for the top M/M SSB score
this year and to K3LR for an amazing M/2 score! Frank and Tim are veterans of
this game and never cease to amaze!
Two newcomers this time...Gail K2RED and Bob WA1Z!
Great conditions this weekend considering where we are in the solar cycle!
Never expected 10m to be as good as it was! The first day we were hampered a
bit by geomagnetic activity...sometimes being this far north can be a
disadvantage. Great 80m and 40m conditions Saturday night helped push W1FV and
KM3T to 1,000 QSOs for the first time on SSB on those bands! Strong QSO and
mult totals for the veteran N2AA/K3EST crew on 20m and W2RQ/K6AW on 15m.
Gail K2RED had a great time filling in on 20 through 10m. K1GQ helped out on
80m and generally had fun listening in and managing all the radio and antenna
technology. He'll actually be operating on CW (20m). :-)
As always, thanks to Matt's wife Christine and their daughters, Anika,
Cassandra, and Sabrina for keeping us fed and entertained. They always make it
a fun time.
