Comments:
Propagation made for an interesting contest ! Great conditions through Saturday
night. Considered taking an off-time during the Sunday morning flare, but the
rate meter held in there in the 40's on 15 meters, so just kept slugging it out.
Amazingly bad auroral propagation Sunday evening, even down here at 32 degrees
latitude. Strangest thing was being called on 40 by a non-fluttery EY8CQ at
0211Z. We don't often get evening openings to EY8 from the western USA !
Never did find (or get found by) J. Fortunately, VE8AE saved the day !
Congratulations to AK1W and N9RV for great eastern scores, as well as the usual
suspects - WP3R, K5TR(N5RZ) and K5GN.
