Comments:
Well, I guess it was not the year to be even close to top ten! Murphy struck a
few times, not the least of which was the solar storm at the end of the contest.
Missed NWT and PAC, thinking I'd catch them at the end. Supurb runs from the
packet piles... The "rock" is 1000 km from Boston -- LOTS of guys with their
beams west made it a bit hard to keep the run rate up at times.
I had many mad Europeans who kept calling me for contacts in the Ukranian
contest!
Thanks to Dave, VO1AU (ex VE2ZP), who was the ultimate host and tour guide on my
first trip to NL. I'll post picture and more of a story on my web site a little
later on.
It's sure fantastic to see LOTs of activity from the Maritimes -- Everybody's
finally finding out the secret -- how fun it is to do SS (or any contest, for
that matter) from maritime Canada!
