Comments:

Started off SOAB low power Unassisted in this one...Was going well until my
computer crashed Sunday morning at 1100z...Lost 3 good hours recovering my log
from the crashed computer and getting it onto my other machine...Got that done,
fired up everything and noticed that the Telnet connection had automatically
launched itself, as is the way I have that machine set up...Arrgghh!! So, was
logged onto AB5K, that made me Assisted all of a sudden...Decided to use the
cluster the rest of the day, since I would have to enter that category
anyway...Should have turned the amp on after that, but decided to see what I
could do with 100 watts...

Amazing condx on 80 metres Friday night...Was running EU with 100 watts and a
simple inverted V at 40 feet...Couldn't believe my ears when the pileup
started...

20 metres was the money band for me for the first time in a long time...Good
propagation everywhere most of the day...15 was OK when it was open, and 10
sucked...Good N-S propagation but NO E-W at all...10 was good for some mults,
thats all...

Had some idiot following me around putting carriers on my freq again...Same as
SS...Great rate killer...

No DXCC on any band this year...Came close on 20...Didn't even hit 30 zones on
any band...Mult count is WAY down this year...I guess it's a sign of the times
for this part of sol's cycle...I also purposely spent much more time running vs
searching for mults this year...With low power, I had a much harder time
breaking some pileups than usual...What a zoo on that C56 station...

All in all, it was a fun weekend...Thanks for the calls...
