Biggest thrill: Working several JA's in the last two hours of the contest to
bump my contact total above my goal of 1200. I also got a kick out of some rare
DX that called me on my frequency including S9, KH2, KL (not really rare, but
sometime hard to get zone 1 on several bands), TK, and HS.
I had three good hours where my rate was above 100. The first was at 1400z day
one on 15m, the other was at 1500-1600z day two on 20m. The rest of the time it
was pretty dismal. While the rate was slow, I downloaded and played around with
the DX Atlas program by VE3NEA... very impressive software. I think I will put
the registered version on my Christmas list!
