Comments:
I seem to be working in contests to get the highest score for the least amount
of time. A really nasty flu hit just before the contest and made it more of a
part-time effort than I had envisaged earlier. The inverted vee at 70' did the
usual job laying down signals over the first 500 miles and producing a little
vertically polarized magic off the west sloping end. Managed a KH6 and numerous
W6's as usual. Too bad I wasn't on during the best times for western stations.
Always amazed when I am called by someone like a CA just after 23:00 and
realizing that it is just after 3 local time out there! WY was in there right
after him. The only beverage that was intact was pointing due west and is
completely overgrown by shrubbery. Nothing to help copying most of the DX!
I will be back to 10m next weekend, again part-time but getting as many points
as I can for CCO!
