Comments:
First of all a big thanks to Jim W7EJ/CN2R for letting me operate from his
super station. Thanks also to Ali CN8TW and other CN8 friends I made during
my stay down there.
Since I´m not very experienced in operating from Africa I did learn a lot
as the contest went by. Only second time for me to operate in CQWW from
outside Europe, last year I was part of M/2 team at CT9L, however single
op is quite different.
Propagation was a little dissapointment, band must have been far below normal
towards USA, very hard to work Asia/Far East thru the Europe wall, a very nice
long path opening to JA Sunday morning helped the score quite a lot, cant
beleive how I could miss Zone 2 and 23.
This will be a new claimed world record, hope it sticks towards the end.
Thanks to all who worked me, QSL via SM2EKM is all ok.
Rig used was a FT1000MP Mk5 + ACOM2000, antennas 5 el Yagi + 4 el Yagi +
3 el 3-bander Yagi.
