Comments:
This was my first contest with TS-480SAT and 10M Hamstick antenna (7 foot mobile
vertical clamped to my balcony railing)from downtown Toronto. Well it
desperately needs the optional I/F filter. I had to constantly play with the
DSP filtering to isolate out strong stations who just took over the front end.
I am blocked by buildings from NE counterclockwise to South. I usually have a
decent signal to Europe, Africa and SA. The conditions being what they were the
only European stations I heard (and worked) were the Azores and Portugal. Did
work into Africa on Saturday and a lot of SA's. I hope everyone had fun.
