Comments:

It is officially the Holiday Season now that the 10 meter contest is history. I
still think ARRL needs to rename it to the "ARRL 10 Meter Holiday QSO Party" as
it is a nice opportunity to say Happy Holidays to some old friends.

To all I worked, thank you. To those I couldn't dig out of the crud my
aoplogies. Running the Alpha 99 made me feel like an aligator. I even dialed
the power down to around 800 watts but still thought I heard people calling that
I couldn't copy.

For a while I thogut the big one had happened and the west coast had fallen in
the ocean. Only one W6 late Saturday and then a few on Sunday, one WA the
entire contest, and no OR or VE7 in the log.

The antennas were pointed SE almost the entire contest as that was the only
direction that seemed to work from here. Even ZL was worked with things
pointing SE. Also, the TH-7 at 93 ft typically played far beter than those at
63 ft, 123 ft or any stack combination. Manged to work three EU stations
Saturday and several in AF. But Sunday nothing heard from that part of the
world.

Oh well, there is always next year;-)
