Comments:
Very interesting conditions. Friday around 1900z found out that the low
tribander, the only one that rotates, had high swr. used it in both cqww tests
for 10 meters..Worked on connectors,etc. Finally climbed tower and found it was
in the driven element. It's a mosley cl-33. Took down the element and fixed the
problem. Then it was dark. Got on and only worked 50 q's before the band died.
Got up Saturday at 1200z and ran 205 q's in a hour and a half. Felt good. Eat
breakfast and reinstlled driven el. All ok! Better score by lot from last year,
only 79k in 2003. It was nice to have k3zo, w9re and k5zd call me for a change.
Worked many FCG stations and have to say N4KM really hung in there. Nice job
Kevin..Working K4OJ was really special..
