Casual operation from home. For casual operation, my usual problem is
remembering that the contest is even happening...but KL2A egged me on about
getting on all week so at 7 p.m. I was turning the rig on and (will wonders
never cease) turning on my brand-spanking-new-used Pentium II 233 MHz computer
that I now have in the home shack to replace the half-dead 486 laptop I'd used
at home for years.
Operating time 00:45 in several 5-7 minute stretches as I snuck away from stuff
I should have been doing instead.
Ten-Tec Orion + 1500 watts to a 135' OCF dipole at 30'.
