Comments:

It's always interesting to hear how good conditions were for some people...and
how it can be the polar opposite for others.

20m I knew I was in trouble when I was talking to K7SS and K4XS before the
start... K4XS was weak... which is not an easy thing to accomplish. K7SS said
that he was as loud as me...then K7SV chimed in from VA... K7SS said hew as
loud, K4XS and I couldn't even hear him. I don't think that I worked a single
W1, W2 or W3 on 20...and the only W4 was K4XS, and that was a struggle. Last
20m Q was W6KK at 0123z

40 was decent...but I can't wait until that broadcast crap goes away...whenever
that is.

80... started tuning there around 0145z just for kicks...there was not a peep of
a signal on 20 at that time. Found W9RE CQing around 3833 at 0158z... logged
him and then N6ZFO called in... before 0200z!! I knew it was going to be a long
last hour then. Logged 82 Qs from 0215z-0300z, which is normally the slowest
time of the contest for me. All kinds of west coast before 0215z too! By the
0330z came about, there wasn't much left to work... 9 Qs in the last 15
minutes...21 in the last 30 minutes. Lots of guys who were 20, 30 and even 40
Qs behind me caught up in a big hurry...and I couldn't do a thing about it.

The best part of the evening was messing with the pig farmers on 3830. Someone
said that I've reached a new career low in contesting... being called a dumbass
by a pig farmer. They're pretty worthless... but very entertaining. I'm still
waiting for an answer from one of them to the question "If one of ya'll pig
farmers divorces your wife and moves to CA, are the two of ya'll still
considered brother and sister?"

Thanks to WB9Z and Lori... great station, great people, great company, great
pizza... lousy conditions.

Breakdown below broken up into 15 minute incriments.
