With bunch of family things scheduled for Saturday afternoon, I knew I wouldn't
be able to make a serious effort in this one. I was off from 1600Z (11am local)
until 2130Z (4:30pm local) so I missed a good chunk of the day on 20/15/10. I
don't thin I missed much on 10 :=) Managed to get some decent runs on all
bands. Worked a number of VK/ZL on 20 and 15. Heard ZL4BR on 40m at the end
but couldn't get through. I went up the band, called CQ and VK2EL called me for
my only VK below 20m. I never did hear a VK/ZL on 80. I heard a few right at
the start on 40 but they were pretty weak. I listened to VO1AU for a while on
40 at the start working VK/ZL that I could barely hear.
I hope to be back for a serious effort next year.
