Imagine my surprise when I called Al, TM5A, on 15 meters and he tells me that I
am a dupe. This was the first time that I had even heard him, so we had a brief
discussion about the "previous QSO" which had occurred about 10 minutes
previously. It turns out that the number I supposedly gave him was only in the
200s and I was up close to 1000 so my conclusion is that he may have miscopied
someone else's similar callsign. We both thought it was a bit spooky, however.
There were lots of other QSOs with old and new friends and there was some
interest in my Wyoming QTH. Fortunately, we had a nice opening on 15 meters on
Sunday with good signals from central and eastern Europe and later, the east
coast.
