Comments:

What great fun!!!

6m opened fairly well to northern CA on Saturday, and then later on shifted to
AZ etc. 6m was pretty much a bust on Sunday. How about that 2m aurora opening
though... wow!!! I don't know why, but we only worked a couple guys on 6m
aurora, while 2m was just jam packed!

Worked WA/OR/ID/NV(!) and VE7 on 2m. Best 2m DX was either the VE7's or W7KK in
DN11. Fortunately (for me anyway) almost everyone was on CW. Never get to do
this stuff in KL7! Can't imagine this with a real antenna.

Kyle, KB5TSS, and Chris, KE7CJO, slammed the Q's in the log HAIR ON FIRE style!
It was great to see these guys on the air! We are getting excited for FD now.

Rig: IC746 100w on 2m and 6m
Antennas: 4 el 6m beam, 5 el 2m beam at about 60 feet.

We'll be on from Moscow Mountain with our monster FD VHF antennas... this stuff
is almost as fun as HF! Now if we only lived in an area with a higher
population density... :)

73!
