First I want to thank K4AQ for 4 long days this week in performing computer work
at this station. We also had 2 new CW ops (WF4W & NT4XT) who did a bang up job
for us.
Score is about 60K better than last year with 2 additional mults. The past 3
years we were heavy on phone ops and this year, just the opposite, which I think
paid off. Conditions overall weren't bad until Sat. evening when we got a band
of showers on the leading edge of Hurricane Dennis. Noise at that time was 15/9
and needless to say, copy was extremely difficult. Thanks to those who worked
us during that timeframe for your patience on repeats/fills.
