Comments:

First test with Steppir 2-el and a rotor.

Continuous S-7 noise on 20M here for most of the contest, after bands were great
and clear during the week previous. Don't know if it was QRM, QRN or over the
horizon radar.

Very few EU stations heard here compared to WPX CW test in May (maybe due to S-7
noise), but got most of the EU zones. Zero AF, Middle East, or central Asia
(former USSR Republics)-- which were a big black hole from here. To the east
worked EU up to EU Russia, and to the west the islands and the Asian Pacific
coast, nothing from Moscow to Vladivostok.

Nice 40M opening to Zone 44s at 09-1000Z, nice 20M opening to North Pacific Zone
64 at 07-0715Z, and to Zones 54 and 61 ~0845. Short 40M opening to Zone 63 at
0730. JAs (Z 45) available during half of the test on 40M and 20M.

Short 10M opening to ZL at 2030Z.

73, Larry N7LU@N6NC
