Sure glad to meet all my friends again for this one in 2005. After relocating
from MO to FLA in June 2004, and moving into a rental QTH, I was fairly
discouraged to miss the 2004 IARU with no antennas in this very nice but
deed-restricted/gated community rental. My first on-the-air event last year was
with the Sarasota Emergency Radio Club (NJ4M) for FD, followed by a most
rewarding operation with the King TOad (K1TO) at his Sarasota QTH for SS-SSB.
Followed that with a great M/S guest-op effort with Pete, N8PR, from his Ft.
Lauderdale QTH for the '04 WWCW. My friend Keith, KORAY, came down in Feb '05
for the Daytona 500, and we installed the TS140 and Hustler mobile mount on the
trailer hitch of the Chevy Silverado ... and so started the "Great Adventures
from the Silverado Mobile"! CU all again looking forward. -frank-
