Comments:

Congrat's to all the gang that pulled off some great scores!
Thanks to all that showed up for making the last installment of the 2005 NS a
real blast. My best score so far, but not the 50 q's I hoped for. Guess I
haven't figured out how whip my star op into doing that with this stuff. Gotta
get a bigger whip! Still, I'm happy to have been bludgeoned by those guys I was
chasing. I would have been smokin' crack to think I should have given them a
fright ;-)

This has been some real fun for us to give the crazy idea a try, and have all of
you who joined in, also give it a try. Kudos go to N6ZFO (the NS meister) & N6RO
again for parenting this little experiment.

The 2005 summer NS is over, but the NCCC mini's are not. We will be doing the
Thursday & Friday nite mini's before just about all of the major contests so
everyone that wants to shake out their gear and gray matter can do so with us.
These will be announced on the CQ-Contest reflector.

The consensus last night on the NCCC net was that there are enough of us that
would like to continue something like the NS on weeks that do not conflict with
preparation for the major contests. So, one of our top secret weapons has
volunteered to look at the contest schedule and propose a new schedule for us to
review and sort out to fire up a non-official, non-awarded series of "NCCC
Thursday Night Madness" practice events for all that want to get a weekly
contesting tune up with all our friends.
When we know what that is, you guys will hear about it on the CQ-Contest
reflector.

Thanks again to everyone who made the summer NS a great experience for me. I
feel like you all helped be become a better contester, not sure if any of that
is real, but it sure was fun.

73, Kurt, NCCC VP/"contest cheerleader"
