Comments:

Well the first half was very tough here in the Q category. I could never get a
run going at all, and the QRN from thunderstorms was overwhelming at this QTH
even though our skies were clear. I gave it up at around 9 PM L, as 15 ande 20
were closed and the few QSO's that I could eke out on 40 and 80 were all that I
could do.

I did do much better on Sunday morning. I actually saw the rate counter get
above 100, and stay there for some fairly long periods, Not bad for such a
long exchange and QRP. I still enjoy digital contests much more though.

Was ND ever actually on? I had a feeling that no one up there ever got on,
judging by all the comments that I got. Ironically I had planned a trip up
there in the mobile just to put ND on the air. We decided at the last minute
that the 6 hour one-way drive, plus no sleep to get back in time for the XYL to
get to her teaching job was just too much. If I had known that there would be
virtually no one up there to give out the section, I would have gone anyway,
20-20 hindsight of course . Guess that I had better go next year no matter
what.

I was surprised to find N4BP at NP2B! I had thought that Bob wasn't going this
year because of Wilma, but certainly glad that he did. Thanks for the FB report
Bob!

I did a lot of work on my antennas last week, which REALLY paid off for me!
The 2 and 3 element tribanders never played as good as it did during the
contest. My vertical 20M loop played very well too, great for an instantaneous
switch to directions in which the two beams were not pointed.

I ended up doing a little better than last year, just barely in last year's
top ten "Q" listing.

Yes, my *ONLY* missing section was ND!!!!
