Tnx to great hospitality of CX5BW...Rig 756ProII and Acom 1000 to 7 ele 10m beam
@80ft and 3 ele 10m beam fixed to US/JA. Elephant gun worked great until high
swr developed around 4pm on 1st day...after that, KT34 was used. Condx better on
Sat than Sun..where were all the I, S5, 9As? No propagation to Northern
EU...Very poor propagation to EU. A lot of QSB and frequent line noise at
Pedro's farm contributed to request for many repeats. Below the equator
propagation is difficult this time of year...equivalent to doing 10m contest in
May in Northern Hemisphere. Thrill was running JAs at contest start until
midnite local...10,000nm path..
Good news was CW5T (K9VV) breaking all time CX 20m score (in next room). Over
2500Qs, 39 zones and 132 countries...Vamos Fubar!GO FCG!
