Comments:
Gotta run to the airport in a few minutes for a quick trip back home to
Wisconsin. My wife greeted me after my pre-contest nap with news that a high
school buddy and his daughter drowned in a pond while ice-skating. She went
through the ice and he went after her. The funeral for both is tomorrow.
Thursday I?m off to EY8 on a business trip. I hope to spend some spare time on
the air (EY8/K4ZW).
Great numbers being posted by some top notch ops. I believe WW CW is the
most competitive contest for SOAB types. With that in mind, my goal was to try
and make the top 5. I think my best finish was 8th. Whether that happens or
not, it doesn?t matter. I had a great time!
