Comments:

Congrats to K5ZD on a terrific SO score--it's generous of Randy to share his
experience by making the audio available.
Had a little scare on Saturday morning--after 1 qso the 15 m antenna started
tripping the amplifier. 20 meters was red hot so figured I'd wait a couple of
hours. Several hours later 20 was still red hot--but I decided I'd better try
and fix 15--trying not to think of what I'd do if I couldn't fix the only 15 m
antenna in the air. After isolating the problem to somewhere "outside the
shack" I made an executive decision to climb the tower and bypass the
stackmatch. Fortunately that fixed the problem. Total time off: 35 minutes.
(Not bad--had it been on Sunday morning it probably would have taken 3 hours.)
That's the first time a stackmatch has failed in that way and I'm curious to see
what shows up when I take it down. The "spare" 15 m antenna is temporarily on
the ground--not a good place for aluminum!
