Comments:

This certainly turned out better than I expected. I had an early
estimate of 100 Qs and 10K points. Finally broke through that
level, and focused on 150 Qs and 15K points. Qs kept happening,
so I upped the goal again to 200 Qs and 40K points. This was
too ambitious by just a tiny bit, as I wound up with 200 Qs and
39.2K points. This is close enough, so I'm happy. That rhythmic
noise in the background is the Happy Dance going on.

2003 was the last time I worked the 10m contest, and things are
really down from then. I had 17% fewer Qs, and 10% fewer mults
This time. Really makes it hard to put a good score together.

I tried adding ANOTHER antenna to my infamous WimpyWire antenna
farm, and it helped a bit. I put up an Extended Double Zepp
aimed at central South America and Japan. Turns out JA was just
wishful thinking, but I was prepared. I worked 8 LU, 2 PY, 2 CX,
1 TI and 1 CE with it, so it was worth the trouble to hang it.
My 10m Bisquare did the honors for my North America contacts.

I have a really fierce repetitive pulse from somewhere in our
neighborhood. I've got to get it found and fixed, as it's really
hard on the ears, hour after hour. The K2 noise blanker, plus
internal plus external DSP isn't enough to rein it in either.
I hope to have it under control by 2006 ARRL 10m cw contest.

All in all, I had a great time. Now getting ready for the Stew
Perry 160m contest.

Good luck to all and 73
