Comments:
May have made 500 Q's this year but grand daughters piano recital was more
important so did not start until 0130Z.
Conditions seemed to run the gambit from very good to very poor at this QTH.
Fast QSB was noticed more than 1 time with calling stations being heard but
going into the noise before the QSO could be completed.
11 EU's,2 KH6, Only 2 JA as others have noted. Don't know if band was gone or
just no JA's operating. Surely did miss them from here though.
HL3IUA called in with a big signal and best DX worked was
VK6DXI. No other VK or ZL heard and VK6DXI was coming in best on the NW
beverage.
This is a good contest. The 14 out of 24 hours is just right for 160.
Hopefully it will be moved back to January next year IMO.
Thank you to each and all for the QSO's.
Merry Christmas and HNY to all,
Bob, K5BG
