Comments:
Semi-serious effort to keep CW/SO2R skills up. Noise, noise, noise! Power
company fixed some stuff, but has to come back. Between atmospheric crashes and
the S-9 line noise, 160 was really a struggle. Going on 160 was a futile
exercise.
15 was long at the beginning as was 20. Missed lots of stuff on both of those
bands. 40 and 80 rocked. Didn't bother moving much stuff since most of it
stopped by on 40 and 80 and 160 was an exercise in futility.
Discovered the main rx is down in sensitivity from my other xcvr by about 10 dB
an hour before the contest. Anybody know a good place in the Southeast for
Yaesu repair...quick, cheap and good?
