Once again this year my wife (N1YXU) and I decided to spend a few hours as a M2
entry. Actually this year, even though it was to only be the two of us, we were
going to try to hang in for the 12 hrs. Well, when the room lit up due to a
close lightening strike our 12 hrs was cut short...to 7 hrs. I had just moved
to 75 and 40 was really starting for Laurie... then - - well, time for a drink
and dinner and to watch the light show. We never got back on as the storm hung
around for too long.
Perhaps next year if we can get the antennas up in our new North Carolina QTH in
time.
