Comments:
Band conditions were very good here in South Carolina. Enjoyed great openings on
40 meters Friday and Saturday nights into Europe and Africa. Had some trouble
with my loop antenna,tuning was unstable so I had to go up on the roof with the
aid of my wonderful daughter Samantha KI4EVE.Despite the cold and rain, we
managed to solder 4 extra feet of wire to the loop which helped stablize the
tuner. Equiptment used: Yaesu FT-840, Yaesu Fc-20 autotuner, MFJ-969 tuner
Antennas: Extended Double Zepp, 272' Loop. Enjoyed it guys, many TNX for all the
great contacts!
