Comments:
At the midway point I didn't think I'd be able to match last year's
totals.
Friday night was pretty tough here, and I went to bed early,
figuring I'd need the rest later. It became clear 15 was going to be
nowhere close to last year, and 80 wasn't working as well, I thought.
But 160 and 40 were better, and 20 really played, more than making up
for what 15 and 10 lost. 15 did get better Sunday, and even surprised
me with a Pacific opening. It's been a while since I've been able to
work JA's on 15 from here. 10 was totally dead on Saturday, but opened up
Sunday noon to put 15 Q's into the log, along with 9 mults.
That opening also completed 6 band sweeps with 8P9PA, TI5N, PJ2T, P40W,
J7OJ, and PJ4R.
The result was I had already reached last years' numbers
with 6 hour left to go.
