 Soapbox:

Killer week in work, talked to K1TWF Thursday night and de-committed our
Multi-Single effort. Casual effort from home station.

Started with latest N1MM which couldn't key the radio reliably. Not enough
mental energy to roll it back to a version that could, so S&P the entire effort
and hand keying to boot.

Decided somewhere along the way that my FT1000D power meeting was reading low
so had power cranked up all the way. Sunday afternoon actually took the trouble
to connect up a Bird wattmeter and guess what, it's not inaccurate. Places me
squarely in the HP category with 155W on 10M (more on the lower bands)....

Really though, I had fun. Did a lot of DXing yielding 6 new band countries for
me. Highlights were finding/working/spotting the V7 and VR2 on 20M the first
day. Got up for sunrise on Sunday morning to work a half dozen JA's on 40M,
first time ever from the home station (probably because I'm never up for the
morning greyline).

See you in SSB from K0TV,

Ken
