Comments:

Wires, wires, wires. I do love my linear loaded dipole and the 40 Meter Moxon
below it...an FT-1000 almost D (sans TCXO-1 and a filter or two) and an
AL-811H and was surprised at how easily I busted several pile-ups on the first
call. Still working on getting up the nerve to run on CW versus S&P. Speed is
increasing but still can't break the rhythm of the exchange...I mean if someone
says something other than what I expect...forget it.
This was a lot of fun and I prefer CW over fone. Need to get my scores to show
that.
I need some more directional antennas and a little more tweaking of the Moxon
stubs but what's a db or two? This effort was twice as good as last year's at
this QTH though; hopefully next year's will be even better. Thanks N1IW for
learnin' me some more about antenna buildin'.
