Comments:
A "Three quarter effort" with ~37 hours in the chair. Last minute decision to
operate. Great fun and, although tiring, a nice mental respite from my day job.
Had to go easy and slept both nights. Goal was to see if I could make top ten
with 10 plus hours off. Arrived at Jim's station three hours before contest
started. Found cables, set up and was set to go at ten minutes before contest.
Then the computer crashed. Hooked up laptop and started ten minutes late.
Jim as always was gracious to allow me to use the station and his mountaintop
QTH plays well on all bands. Virtually everything on 160 and 40 was first call.
