Always it is for us run this contests and to find so skilled NA contest
operators.
I was planning to run the contest as SOAB HP, but by health reasons I request
some help calling to my good friends Duncan EA5ON and Victor EA5KV just the
friday evening (my apologize for that to both, and thanks for reply my request).
Duncan can't go and it do a good job on 15m SO mobil despite the strong winds
that are present all the weekend here and worse in the beach, where he run his
well dressed mobil station.
The EA5DFV station was not ready to do a M/S: We can only use the multiband for
40-20-15-10 and the 6 el. monoband for 15m and wires, and I can run only one tx
in the air. Not multi station.
Victor come the saturday evening and we can use the packet cluster only half ot
the contest time. We change from win-test to writelog in the sunday morning.
The conditions on 15m here has been quite good, with good running both days.
On 40m, the band seem open all the day, and we can hear the big guns in the east
cost till the open in the 20m band. The worse experience: operate on 20m with
the multiband (3el.) when all the people are in that band.
