Comments:
My arthritis dictated when I would operate and for how long; and
whether I could reach the rig from the chair...
Managed about 15 hours... As usual I missed a county ( HAMILTON )
20 metrs on Sunday was good, especially on SSB , many huge huge signals..
The new 4 ele SteppIR yagi at 72 ' amazes me.
Love those mobiles who fire away at 30 - 40 wpm !!!
40 mtrs was a bit noisy and 15 mtrs was rather dry , only 8 qsos, all cw.
Missed N4OJ/MAO right at the end, he couldn't copy me...yet worked others.
Maybe the band was changeing, as he quite weaker than previous qsos.
All in all a great deal of fun, but now feel like I went 12 rounds with
George Chuvalo . ( any Yanks remember him ?
