This one will be remembered...not because of some great band condx (not) or
being called by some rare dx but for a strange accident. 1 hour before the
contest started the neighbors horses (8) got out. I thought no big deal until
something spooked them and they came running across my 37 acres heading right
for the two towers. The lead horse - a 2 year old quarter horse ran straight
into a lower guy - I am thinking the tower is going down (900lb horse going
10mph). The tower survived with minor damage to the anchors. The horse did
not. It was put down 3 hours later 10 feet from where it made contact with the
guy. What a weekend! Thanks for the QSOs.
