Had a great time and met or surpassed all of my goals. Worked a new country
thanks to KH6ND/KH5. Last year had 785 QSO's and 403 prefixes. So my goal
going in was 800 QSO's. Got off to a fast start, but fell behind during the
day on Saturday, but 40 opened up to Europe on Saturday night, and got back on
schedule. Thanks to the 10m conditions, I was able to boost my QSO total well
above my goal, but the points were lagging and I seemed to be stuck on 390
prefixes for a long time. So it looked like I would get my QSO goal, but not
beat last year's score. Decided to stick to 20m for most of the last two hours
and it paid off. I picked up about 40 multipliers and lots of 3 point QSOs at
the end.
Rig: Kenwood TS-570D
Antennas: Cushcraft R-8 Vertical on 40m through 10m.
Cushcraft MA80/40 Vertical on 80m.
Software: N1MM with Microham Micro Keyer between PC & rig
