Comments:
This was my first 6M contest in 40 years of hamming! I had a ball running <5
watts to my 80 meter dipole at 30ft from my Yaseu FT-817 on a "Power Up"
battery pack.
I couldn't believe the sigs from FL, IOWA, TEXAS and Carribean! 100W sigs
running full scale on the S-meter. What does this contest get like on 6M during
a sunspot maximum?
Thanks to all those who took the time to pull my QRP signal out of the noise.
Appologies to N2SE for my only dupe.... I forgot you cannot work a station a
2nd time on the same band even if the mode is different. I left the SSB QSO in
the log.
