Station was setup to allow blind operator to log and make contacts. System was
880 AH Battery bay, TS-850, Loop on 160,80, 2 Element Quad on 40,30 4 Element
Quad on 20, 25, 10 and 1.5K inverter to runn computers off batteries. Computer
arrangement was a laptop running N1MM Logger, WinKey, Vibroplex Square racer
Paddle, and Jaws For Windows Screen reader program. We encountered a few
problems with the setup, but narrowed it down to a bad USB to serial converter
connected to the WinKey. There will need to be some fine tuning of the setup,
but thoughts are to take it out portable next year.
