Hi contest friends !
WOW ! That was again a big FUN in this Contest.
We did not expect such nice HF conditions but sure we enjoyed
them very much and the very nice high rates we had from
time to time. We did some upgrates to our antenna setup
some days before the contest and the IARU Contest was the
first real test for the new antennas and we are happy
with the performance of the system so far. We had some
little bugs in the station setup, but that was not a big problem
and so we did our best to push the score and this is our best
score in IARU so far .
It was a big fun to work all the WRTC teams (we worked most
of them on 15m with some differences in signal strengh)
and we hope all
of them had as much fun in Brazil as we had and
congratulations to the winners and all the others too.
We had the pleasure to have Maik, DJ2QV again here in our
team, after he is back from UK here in DL and thanks to him
for making the long trip to operate with us.
Thanks to Uli, DL8OBQ for putting in a lot of time and energy
to get the antennas and station ready right in time for the
contest. We think there will be some big scores anounced this
year....
BIG THANKS to all of you for the QSOs and we hope to meet
you soon again on the bands.
