Comments:
Set up in a local park, on top of a mountain, with wire antennas and the car as
a shack. Only operated for 8 hours on Saturday. Skip was really short so I
missed everyone out towards the Left Coast. Being located in the far western
corner of the state, and the short skip allowed me to work all but 6 of the MDC
counties. Thanks to K4MUT/M for a good number of them. This contest was a
practice for the Ohio QSO Party on August 26th. Only uncovered a few problems,
like the solder in the main power fuse melting and choppy CW sending by the
laptop. Both problems should be repaired in time for Ohio.
