This was my first stab at the WAE SSB contest and I just wish I had more time to
operate. It took a long time and a lot of trial and error to figure out how to
send QTCs using N1MM - even with the step by step guidance in the Help file.
Most of the other contesters using N1MM that I talked to during the contest
said they had given up on QTCs as it was too complicated. Perseverence paid in
the end, as I doubled my score in the last half hour or so. I'm just glad I
didn't try N1MM first with the WAE CW contest, or I would have given up for
sure!
Now that I got the hang of QTCs and have my new 6 element yagi up, I look
forward to next year's WAE contests.
